Sell on instalments from the invoice
Open the invoice and split it into instalments. Choose the number, weekly, fortnightly or monthly, and an interest percentage if you add one. The amounts and due dates are laid out for you, and the last instalment takes care of the paise.
Tick off each instalment as the customer pays. Changed the plan? Regenerate the schedule in one click.

Choose Electronics at signup
The workspace opens with electronics defaults: 18% GST and the IMEI box on invoice lines.

Add warranty months
Set the warranty period on each product, for example 12 months on phones.

Load your serials
Paste the IMEIs from the stock you have into the Serials tab, product by product.

Bill and cover
Enter the IMEI on the invoice line, add the warranty or AMC for the customer, and create an EMI plan if they pay in parts.
Serials are kept in a register of their own. Selling a phone does not yet pick the serial from stock or mark it sold, and returns are not matched by serial yet, so enter the IMEI on the invoice line and on the warranty. The IMEI is saved with the invoice but not printed on the PDF yet. Instalment reminders are not sent automatically.

Open the Serials tab in Inventory, pick the product and the godown, and paste the numbers one per line or separated by commas. A box of 20 phones goes in at once.
For electronics shops, every invoice line has an IMEI / serial number box. The number is saved with that line of the invoice.
Set warranty months on each product. When you add a warranty for a customer and pick the product, the end date is filled in from the start date and those months. You can change either date.
Yes. Add an AMC contract for a customer with the item, its serial or IMEI, the start and end dates and the fee. AMCs sit in the same register as warranties, with an expiring-soon list.
Open an invoice and create an instalment plan: choose how many instalments, weekly, fortnightly or monthly, and an interest percentage if you charge one. The schedule is split into equal amounts with due dates, and you tick off each instalment as it is paid.
Marking it paid ticks it off the schedule. Record the money itself as a payment on the invoice, in cash, UPI or card, so the balance and the books move.
