Six purities
24K, 22K, 18K and 14K gold, silver 999 and silver 925, each with its own rate per gram.
Pick the purity, put in the gross and stone weight, and the bill works out the metal value at today's rate, the wastage, the making and the stone value, with 3% GST on top.
For gold and silver jewellers who bill at the counter and on invoices, and are tired of doing it on a calculator first.

Pick the purity and enter gross and stone weight. Net weight, wastage, making, stones and 3% GST fill in from the rate you set this morning.

Everything a jeweller writes on the estimate slip, in one calculator that opens when you add a jewellery item.
24K, 22K, 18K and 14K gold, silver 999 and silver 925, each with its own rate per gram.
Enter weights to the milligram. Net weight is worked out as gross minus stone.
The rate board fills in the rate for the purity you pick, so nobody types it on every bill.
Charged as a percentage of the metal value, with a shop default you can change per piece.
Use a per-gram making rate, a flat amount, or both together.
Add the value of stones or diamonds as a rupee amount on the same line.
Keep each piece's HUID in the product record with its purity and weights.
Weight-billed lines are taxed at 3%, split into CGST and SGST or IGST by place of supply.
Net weight is gross minus stone. The metal value is net weight times the rate for that purity. Wastage is a percentage of the metal value, making is per gram of net weight plus any flat charge, and the stone value is added last.
The invoice line reads like your slip, for example “22K Ring · net 11.920g @ ₹6,850/g + 8% VA”, so the customer can follow the price.

Today's rates, gold and silver sold this month in grams, making and wastage earned, and weight sold by purity.
Your workspace opens with jewellery defaults, including 3% GST on gold and silver.
Open Today's metal rates on the POS and put in the rate per gram for each purity, plus your usual wastage and making.
For each product, fill in purity, gross and stone weight, making, stone value and HUID.
Add the piece, check the calculator, change anything for this customer and charge.
Rates are kept as today's board. Updating them replaces the previous rates, so bills already made keep the price they were charged at. Old-gold exchange is not part of weight billing yet.
